About the role
IMC is seeking Quantitative Trader Interns for their Amsterdam-based Summer 2027 internship program. This opportunity is designed to immerse students in the proprietary trading landscape, starting with an engaging classroom-based curriculum in the first week. As an intern, you will work closely with dedicated trainers and mentors to generate and iterate on live trading strategies, build helpful tooling, and enhance visibility for specific trading use cases. Additionally, you will participate in simulated trading sessions, complete a meaningful quant project, and shadow various active trading desks. Candidates must be in their penultimate year of study in mathematics, physics, econometrics, or a highly quantitative field with a graduation date in 2028. Strong analytical capabilities are required, and experience with programming languages like Python, Matlab, or R is highly advantageous. IMC offers a highly competitive compensation package, fully-furnished corporate accommodation in Amsterdam, and catered meals during the internship.
