About the role

IMC is seeking Graduate Traders to join their Amsterdam office starting in February or August 2027. The journey begins with an intensive six-week Global Trainee Programme alongside peers from the US and Asia-Pacific, covering financial markets, proprietary trading systems, and IMC's custom trading strategies. Following training, graduates are placed on systematic, discretionary, or execution-focused trading desks. Daily responsibilities include trading a diverse range of financial instruments, developing and optimizing proprietary trading algorithms, and managing execution and risk of complex portfolios. Graduates will collaborate closely with technology developers and quantitative researchers to refine pricing models and execution logic. Candidates should be in their final year of a quantitative degree (Mathematics, Physics, Econometrics, or related fields) with strong analytical abilities. While no prior finance knowledge is required, familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Matlab, or R is highly advantageous for developing strategies and analyzing market data.
