Data Scientist Transaction Banking

ABN AMRO is seeking a Data Scientist for its Advanced Analytics and AI Center of Expertise (AA&AI CoE) within the Transaction Banking Data Domain in Amsterdam. In this role, you will drive advanced analytics and AI innovation to support strategic, operational, and tactical decision-making across a diverse portfolio of products, including payments, savings, trade finance, and digital services. Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and deploying AI solutions such as Machine Learning models, Generative AI applications, and intelligent AI Agents. You will translate complex business challenges into structured data questions, conduct detailed data exploration, and build models for forecasting, prediction, and cluster analysis. Collaborating closely with ML engineers and data architects, you will work within cloud environments like Azure and Databricks. The required technical stack includes high proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL. You will also communicate insights to business stakeholders through clear visualizations and structured storytelling.
