Senior Data Scientist

The Senior Data Scientist will play a pivotal role within ABN AMRO's Enterprise Enabling Data Domain, contributing to the bank's strategy by designing, developing, and deploying AI-powered solutions into production. This involves identifying opportunities for AI to enhance business processes, support strategic decision-making, and unlock new operational methods. Key responsibilities include designing, training, and evaluating advanced machine learning models, including generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM)-based solutions. The role requires exploring and applying complex datasets, metadata structures, knowledge graphs, and unstructured data. Professionals will develop scalable, production-ready AI products using cloud-based platforms like Azure, Databricks, and Spark, while proficiently using Python with modern ML/AI libraries such as PyTorch and scikit-learn. Collaboration with Machine Learning Engineers, Data Engineers, and Domain Experts is essential, alongside advising stakeholders on responsible AI principles, data quality, explainability, and model governance.
