Portfolio Manager - Fixed Income Solutions

Robeco’s Fixed Income Solutions team, a key part of the Investment Solutions department in Rotterdam, is seeking a Portfolio Manager to manage bespoke fixed income portfolios for institutional clients, such as pension funds and insurers. The team designs and executes tailored investment strategies ranging from Buy and Maintain solutions to customized credit, government bond, Liability-Driven Investing (LDI), and multi-asset fixed income portfolios. Daily responsibilities include managing and monitoring portfolios, assessing risks, translating complex client liability and regulatory objectives into practical solutions, and scaling up Robeco's proprietary fixed income optimization platform, Falcon. The successful candidate will also integrate climate and sustainability metrics into new portfolios and collaborate with traders, researchers, and fundamental fixed income teams. On the quantitative side, the role requires applying strong analytical modeling, portfolio construction methodologies, and optimization techniques. Candidates should possess robust programming skills, with a strong preference for Python, to develop front-office tooling, solve real-world portfolio management questions, and advance data and AI usage within the processes.
