Portfolio Manager LDI

Athora Netherlands is seeking an analytically strong Portfolio Manager to join its Liability-Driven Investments (LDI) team based in Amsterdam. As part of the Investment Office managing a €71bn balance sheet, the successful candidate will help manage the own-account LDI portfolio investing across interest rates, sovereign bonds, liquidity, and derivatives, while mitigating interest rate, inflation, currency, and liquidity exposures. Daily responsibilities include developing portfolio ideas and balance-sheet hedging solutions, executing trades in cash, bonds, and derivatives, performing market and portfolio analysis, and preparing governance materials for the Investment Committee. The role requires a strong quantitative foundation to model financial risks and structure solutions in a complex insurance environment. Technical qualifications include a university degree in a quantitative field such as Econometrics, Mathematics, or Finance, ideally combined with a professional designation (CFA/VBA/CAIA). Key technical skills preferred include experience with SimCorp Dimension, Python, and SQL for analytical and data-driven tasks.
