Stagiair Investment Management

This is an internship position (Stagiair Investment Management) at Allianz. The role is designed for a student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience within the Investment Management department of a major global insurer. The successful candidate will assist the investment team with the monitoring and analysis of the investment portfolio, supporting strategic and tactical asset allocation decisions. Key daily responsibilities include performing quantitative analysis on various asset classes (such as fixed income and equities), preparing regular investment reports, and conducting market research to identify trends and risks. The intern will apply quantitative methods, including basic statistical modeling, portfolio optimization techniques, and risk analysis. The position requires familiarity with programming and analytical tools, specifically Python and Excel, to manipulate financial datasets and automate reporting processes. This internship offers a unique opportunity to understand how institutional investors manage large-scale portfolios while adhering to regulatory frameworks and risk limits.
