Quantitative Analyst

The Quantitative Analyst at Pure Energie's Trading department is responsible for optimizing energy product in- and sales decisions and managing assets like wind & solar parks and large-scale battery storage. This role translates trading strategies into automated analysis programs and robust trading algorithms, with a strong focus on IT and AI applications in the market. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining code for both historical and real-time insights, formulating innovative trading strategies and models, and ensuring the logic and consistency of underlying algorithms in a dynamic real-time trading environment. The analyst will oversee complex market and system interactions, translating them into robust models. A critical aspect involves applying software architecture principles, particularly for real-time data, to manage systems capable of controlling large batteries on a second-by-second basis. The role requires expertise in data science, AI, advanced programming skills, and a quantitative background to deliver pragmatic, scalable solutions with direct commercial impact.
