Head of Analytics & Realization

The Head of Analytics & Realization at Eneco's Trade department drives the energy transition by optimizing the interaction between assets, markets, and real-time trading decisions. This leadership role focuses on developing a high-performing team of approximately 20 professionals, shaping a scalable, digital, and future-proof organization at the core of Eneco’s trading operations. Key responsibilities include ensuring the effective integration of new assets like battery storage (BESS) and renewable assets into the Virtual Power Plant (VPP) landscape, along with implementing regulatory and market-driven changes. The role involves building and scaling a high-impact analytics and data science capability, developing dashboards, monitoring frameworks, and delivering analytical and optimization models to support asset optimization and real-time decision-making. The Head will also bridge business and technology, prioritizing demand for IT and development teams, and enhancing the reliability, efficiency, and scalability of the VPP and wider Trade IT landscape through automation and standardization. Expertise in data analytics, operational excellence, and a continuous improvement mindset are crucial for translating complex operational and trading data into actionable insights.
