About the role
Junior front-office role supporting energy traders through fundamental market analysis, data-driven research, and operational support within the European power and gas markets.

- Provide real-time fundamental analysis of market drivers, including power plant availability and interconnector capacities.
- Translate geopolitical developments and regulatory changes into actionable trading insights.
- Conduct ad-hoc research and thematic analysis to support the development of new trading strategies.
- Identify and integrate new datasets to enhance market understanding in collaboration with tech teams.
- Collaborate with quants and traders to improve models and data visualization tools.
- Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Econometrics, Mathematics, Finance, or Engineering).
- Recent graduate or early-career professional (up to 2 years experience) with a strong analytical mindset.
- Skilled in coding and quantitative modelling, specifically in Python and SQL.
- Proficiency in Excel and the ability to work with large, complex datasets.
- Confident communicator who can translate technical analysis into concise insights for traders.
- Resilient under pressure and comfortable making recommendations in fast-paced environments.
