Lead Portfolio Management - MAS OCIO Insurance - Vice President

The Goldman Sachs Asset & Wealth Management division is seeking a Vice President for its Multi-Asset Solutions (MAS) OCIO Insurance team in The Hague. This global team designs and implements customized investment management solutions and provides OCIO services specifically for insurance companies. The role involves leading the design, management, and communication of multi-asset portfolios. Key responsibilities include performing "whole-of-balance-sheet" asset-liability analysis to match investment assets with diverse insurance liability streams (Life, P&C, Health), developing and implementing bespoke Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA) frameworks. These frameworks incorporate insurance-specific constraints such as Solvency II considerations, return-on-capital requirements, and various risk parameters. The role also requires active client engagement, presenting investment strategies and results to Investment Committees, and collaborating on thought leadership content. Candidates should have expertise in fixed income, alternatives, and liability-hedging strategies, supported by a Master’s degree in a quantitative, economic, or actuarial field. Technical skills include proficiency in MS Office and adaptability to industry data sources.
