Graduate Trader

The Graduate Trader role at UTR8 offers recent graduates with up to three years of experience the opportunity to kickstart their career on the trading desk. Based in Utrecht with potential international rotation, you will work under the guidance of a senior trader to master the intricacies of proprietary trading. Key responsibilities include pricing and trading a range of financial instruments, managing execution and risk of trading portfolios, and optimizing daily positions and strategies. Furthermore, you will actively research new market opportunities and develop advanced quantitative trading models. Candidates must hold a Master's degree in quantitative finance, mathematics, or a technical field, demonstrating exceptional numerical, analytical, and mathematical skills. While prior financial knowledge is not required, a passion for financial markets and an interest in IT systems or programming are highly advantageous for collaborating with technology teams and improving strategies. This fast-paced, competitive environment requires the ability to perform under pressure and a desire for continuous learning.
