About the role
Strategic leadership role at a high-growth global fintech, responsible for establishing and leading the global second-line Financial Risk function across credit, liquidity, capital, market, and model risk.

- Establish the global Financial Risk framework, defining standards, policies, limits, and escalation paths to support safe business growth.
- Provide second-line oversight for credit risk, including global underwriting standards, governance, and decisions on complex exposures.
- Direct the firm’s liquidity and capital resilience agenda, overseeing ICAAP, ILAAP, and enterprise-wide stress testing scenarios.
- Institutionalize model governance and independent validation across risk, pricing, forecasting, and automated decisioning models.
- Lead and scale a high-performing global team while acting as a trusted advisor to senior management, boards, and regulators.
- 12-15+ years of experience in financial risk management within regulated banks, fintechs, or payments companies.
- Proven track record in senior leadership roles (5-7+ years) with multi-jurisdictional or global scope.
- Deep technical expertise in core risk disciplines: credit, liquidity, capital adequacy, and model risk.
- Direct experience developing or overseeing prudential frameworks such as ICAAP and ILAAP.
- Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Finance, Engineering, Actuarial Science); CFA or FRM credentials preferred.
