Senior Machine Learning Engineer - AML Tech

Join Adyen's Anti-Money Laundering team in Amsterdam to build and operate robust machine learning systems at scale, processing massive transaction volumes to detect complex financial crime. In this role, you will develop and maintain production ML pipelines for data ingestion, training, validation, and deployment, helping transition an existing rules-heavy system to a modern, model-first detection engine. You will collaborate with data engineers, analysts, operations, and compliance teams to tackle technical challenges like extreme class imbalance and incomplete ground truth. The tech stack utilizes Python, PySpark, Trino SQL, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost, LightGBM, Pandas, MLflow, Airflow, Kubernetes, Docker, Prometheus, and Grafana.
