About the role

Join the Actuarial Advisory & ALM department at PGGM as a Graduate Intern to research the transition to the new Dutch pension law (Wet toekomst pensioenen - Wtp). The primary objective of this internship is to investigate how the new solidarity premium scheme (solidaire premieregeling) can achieve purchasing-power-preserving pensions across different generations. You will define and measure purchasing power in the context of the new system and analyze how tools like the solidarity reserve, investment return distribution, and projection rates can be optimized. Utilizing stochastic ALM modeling, scenario analysis, and financial risk assessment methods, you will evaluate the risks and opportunities for various age cohorts. This role requires a quantitative academic background (such as econometrics, actuarial science, or mathematics), strong conceptual analytical capabilities, and excellent Dutch communication skills. The position offers a monthly internship allowance of ‐€1,016 for 36 hours a week, flexible working hours, and hybrid working options.
