Junior Credit Risk Analist

BridgeFund is seeking a Junior Credit Risk Analyst based in Amsterdam to join their fast-growing fintech team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating credit applications from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) ranging from €5,000 to €250,000. Daily tasks include analyzing financial figures, assessing business cash flows, evaluating sector-specific trends, and assessing collateral to make informed credit decisions. You will leverage and integrate advanced machine learning models and data-driven dashboards that predict default risk, filter financial data, and optimize decision speed. Additionally, you will participate in comprehensive sector-level and portfolio analyses to detect underlying risk patterns, identify market trends, and refine predictive credit risk models. The ideal candidate holds an HBO or WO degree, possesses strong analytical capabilities, and demonstrates decisiveness in making high-stakes, data-driven decisions even with incomplete information. The position requires a collaborative mindset to coordinate with Customer Success teams, a passion for fintech and risk management, and fluent professional communication skills in both Dutch and English.
