Scholt Energy is seeking a Quantitative Analyst for their Optimisation & Analytics team in Eindhoven, NL. The core objective of this role is to build, validate, and maintain advanced quantitative optimization models that form the critical link between forecasting, trading strategy, and real-time operational control across international energy markets. Daily responsibilities include developing mathematical optimization and statistical models, translating market developments into concrete operational improvements, monitoring and validating model performance using historical and real-time data, and independently deploying models into production in collaboration with the IT team. Candidates must have a Master's degree in a highly quantitative discipline such as Econometrics, Operations Research, or Mathematics. The ideal candidate possesses at least 3 years of relevant experience in a quantitative role, featuring strong skills in Python and statistical modeling. An interest in energy markets and the willingness to actively follow market dynamics are key to optimizing trading outcomes and supporting Scholt Energy's broader mission toward sustainable, climate-neutral energy solutions.
